Zagreb, Croatia

A train from Vienna to Zagreb, Croatia can be an ordeal, but the burdened was lessened when we found a stowaway in our reserved train compartment. His name was Nick, his initial intention he later confessed was to not be removed from the secluded, roomy csrs but as we began the standard getting to know you questions we realized that it really was nice to make each other's acquaintances. A Chicagoan from Columbia, the man always had something positive to add or knowledge of the trip ahead. We taught him how to play the Austrian card game Trumph and he introduced us to folk music from his previous travels in Brazil. Conversation came easy and the group was injected with a much needed fresh dynamic. The rail glided through the Austrian countryside as we observed the natural beauty from the convenience of our passing vessel.
