Split, Croatia

Update: the rain only lasted a day and a half. We extended our stay in Split at a different hostel. Yesterday, we had an overcast beach day and a night at an authentic Discotech with some Bosnian DJ's, more on that later

Although the weather was dodgy, the tourists seemed to be unaffected. We picked up several friends during our 3 days on the beach. The cycle would go as thus: king's cup pregame in the hostel with as many people we could pack in the room. Proceed to a bar by 12 and be at the Quazimoto by 30 past midnight (The first night we showed up for soundcheck at 11pm, -a big mistake, that forced us to rescind our hasty judgement of the Croatians). Drink in an uncomfortabley packed undersized venue until the lack of windows and lit cigarettes raised serious consern about asphyxiation, wake up hung over, eat breakfast, go to the besch; rinse and repeat. Thank you Katie, Lyle, Johnny, Ross, Tor and Babs, it was fun!
