It was a long 6 months, I traveled around the world, I made some amazing new friends, saw things I never thought I would. Now it's time to buckle down, enjoy being normal and staying in one place; the harmony of finding beauty in the routine, enjoying being inside and being at peace with my role in humanity. I do this reinvigorated and with a new perspective colored by the experiences precedent to it. No more traveling... for now.

16 hour layover at Haneda Airport. So naturally, I ripped coffee to stay awake and went exploring until I was dizzy.

All the rest of Bangkok
Old unposted from my phone: I finally made it to Bangkok to meet Professor Knutson, I went from Monument to Ekkami and then took a motorbike down a back alley for about 6km. If you could be living in an anime future city, Bangkok University feels like that reality. The main hall, shaped like some giant space ship. I wandered through campus noticing Thai co-eds happily chatting away, before asking for directions. Easily, they replied, pointing me to the tallest building on campus, #9, ninth floor. I asked the receptionist to see professor Knutson. After 4 months, a barrage of emails and the anticipation, it felt a little bit like the wizard of oz, the curtains were being revealed. A man sat inside diligently working away.
